Ordering and Shipping
FILMPOSTERS.COM: specializes in authentic, original movie posters, lobby cards and Hollywood memorabilia. Unlike the glossy reprints and reproductions that are available in countless retail outlets and on-line venues, we deal only in the actual, theater-used advertising materials that were produced in limited quantities for display when the film was released. We do not sell reproductions of any kind. While some web sites employ stock images and offer special orders (i.e., they don't actually have the item but will try to locate one for you), every item on our site is in stock and available for immediate sale.
HOW TO ORDER:
You may order directly from our web site using our secure server or place your order by phone (631-421-7203) during our business hours (11am - 6pm EST, Tues-Sat). Shipping charges are calculated on an individual basis for each order, depending on items purchased and destination.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Paypal. Please note that credit card charges will appear on your bill under the merchant “John Hazelton Posters”. You may also make payment by check or money order (drawn in U.S. funds). Please note: when sending payment in the form of check or money order, make payable to John Hazelton Posters, NOT Filmposters.com.
New York State residents must add 8.625% Sales Tax to their orders. Unless you provide a valid New York Resale Number, Sales Tax will automatically be added to all orders shipped to a New York address.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING (within the U.S.):
Unless otherwise requested, domestic orders are shipped via either U.S.P.S. Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation or via U.S.P.S. Express Mail. Our shopping cart allows you to choose between Priority Mail and Express Mail, depending upon how quickly you need to receive your order. As a rule, Priority Mail is delivered within three to five business days and Express Mail is delivered in one day. If you have special shipping needs please include instructions with your order. Please note: during the December holiday period Priority Mail can take from five to seven business days to reach certain locations.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (outside the U.S.):
Unless otherwise requested, all international orders are shipped via either U.S.P.S. Priority Air Mail or via U.S.P.S. International Express Mail. Our shopping cart allows you to choose between Priority Air Mail and International Express Mail, depending upon how quickly you need to receive your order. As a rule, Priority Air Mail is delivered within seven to ten business days and International Express Mail is delivered within two to three days. If you have special shipping and/or Customs requirements please include instructions with your order. Please note: during the December holiday period international shipping times may be slightly longer.
Our own private insurance carrier insures every package we ship for its full value.
All orders are shipped within 48 hours (usually sooner). Domestic orders shipped via Priority Mail will be delivered within three to five business days (usually sooner). International orders shipped via Priority Air Mail will be delivered within ten business days or less. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order ships. If you have special shipping needs just let us know. We can also ship via Federal Express (please inquire).
HOW WE PACK:
We pride ourselves on meticulous packing. We carefully pack all items in heavy duty cartons and mailing tubes. Flat or folded items are shipped between a minimum of four pieces of smooth corrugation and then placed inside a custom mailer. Rolled and linenbacked items are double-tubed and padded on each end with bubble wrap to properly shock-absorb the ends.
RETURN POLICY - SATISFACTION GUARANTEED:
We guarantee your satisfaction on every item we sell. We offer a seven-day return privilege on every item we sell. If you are not 100% satisfied with any part of your purchase from Filmposters.com you may return it within seven days of receipt for a complete refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs).
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM:
Please inspect your order before discarding the packaging materials. If you are displeased with an item for any reason you may return it for a complete refund of the purchase price or exchange it for another item. To expedite your refund, we ask that you 1) notify us within three days of receipt that you are making a return and 2) return the item within seven days properly insured in its original packaging. Please package your return securely and include a note with your name, address, phone number and instructions for refund or exchange.
